:: Diamond shaped center medallion within a shield-like stepped larger medallion, adorned at either end by palmettes and large serrated leaves. Covered field in tiered germinating flowers. Unusual main border in a partial arabesque floral cross-section. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, powder blue, brick red, navy blue, gold, emerald green, mallard green, beige, sand, madder root red, lime green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Some localized areas of tinting to the fringe. Some localized areas of repair with one small patch approximately 2"x1" which shows on the reverse of the carpet as 5"x9" Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 9'6" x 11'10".
