:: Diamond shaped center medallion with hook and latch enveloped motif atop a narrow abrashed field and large corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Main border in a wide banded thickness and expressively drawn cloudband design elements with quatrefoil oriented blossoms reciprocating between. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cherry red, pale silver slate, pale blush and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One small stiff edge but no cracking. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 5'9" x 8'1".
